Memory card problem

I did some filming with the band when we took a trip up to london, i got lost of the shots i had planned to have in my video, but when i went to pit the files on the computer the card had failed and i had lost all of the filming i had done. this has set me back on my video and also means i am going to have to change my story borad and edit out some of the shots i cant get.
